MMS: technology or philosophy?

A new approach to make site management activities quick and easy

MMS is a CMS (Content Management System), i.e. a system for managing the contents of web pages.

There are more than 2000 known CMSs and many more are used in a few thousand applications. What is the reason for creating a new one? To be on the side of the customer!

The main advantages of MMS are:

Speed - The Google test gives its applications scores between 90 and 100/100 i.e. sites that don't lose visitors. Lower scores lead to heavy losses of visitors, according to numerous technical documentation on this subject. Take this test with sites that you consider professional and you will have many surprises!

Ease of use - A person with little technical knowledge and without a long learning period is not able to manage a site built with WordPress, while anyone in half an hour can learn to manage a site built with MMS

Quick Edit - Average time savings = 50% compared to most common CMS, as many MMS functions have been fully automated.

These advantages are based on a new philosophy that makes MMS very different from other CMS:

• no database: it uses the Linux file system as a DB also for big portals with thousend of pages (10 times faster or more)
• menu items and links created automatically make editing faster and easier than the tedious tasks required by other CMS
• mark-up-based text formatting (such as Wikipedia), resulting in a more precise layout and optimized HTML code. This makes MMS faster and better indexed by Google
• automatic image resizing according to the page template: don't waste time, using MMS you forget this problem

This philosophy derive from having rethought the basic logic of this CMS by adopting very unconventional solutions that make it very competitive in the banchmarks with similar products.

MMS was designed to avoid the nightmares of Wordpress, the most famous CMS. It is used by most programmers and graphic designers without any technical knowledge, who make site using automatic tools and nice free templates. Customers are happy with nice sites that satisfies their EGOs (besides a nice site there is always a great EGO or some Marketing trick), but they don't know they have been fooled.

In fact Wordpress (as well as the worst CMS like Joomla) is a complex and heavy dinosaur, designed to manage many thousands of pages, not a site with a few tenth pages.

So it's hard to manage (many customers pay for any content changes or don't update the site) and it's slow, so it loses a lot of visitors. This is a big problem that users aren't aware of: many Wordpress-based sites can't even reach 50/100 in Google's Pagespeed Test

Moreover, being very well known, it is easily attacked by hachers, if not often updated.
